Tune your sets to the electric hum coming out of the Shadow Moss Caves, because coming at you now is the deep thump and humming mixes of DJ Batty, live from the biggest stage, the newest spectacle! This bat is absolutely out there, and that is by design - theirs, of course! It takes quite a lot to stand out when you're just one of the crowd, and that's doubly true when you're just a pup of one of the bat colonies from the Caves! But that just pushed this icon of the Isles to reach higher, to get louder, and now their name is on the lips and beaks of folks from the mountains to the marshes!

Off the mic and backstage, DJ Batty becomes simply Echo, a resident of Shadow Moss Caves who grew up with the stars in their eyes and passion in their heart. For Echo, it was never just about doing great things or making music or art - that was part of what they did of course, but the goal was legacy. To be remembered is to live forever, as it's said in the Caves, and Echo took that to heart. Lost among a sea of aunties, uncles, and cousins, the little bat set their sights on making a name for themselves, one that was known across the Isles, signed large and proud across exhibitions and productions that captured the thoughts of folks across the Isles.

So Echo got to work, practicing, learning, experimenting. The bat was rarely found outside of their studio, unless they were passing out flyers for a show or drumming up an audience to see their latest work. Long hours and plenty of failures dogged their efforts, and many a time their friends or family tried to convince them to take a break, but Echo was a creature of focus and determination. Every frustration and failure was met by them pushing forward, and that persistence eventually paid off. A show in one of the side caverns became a major art installation, which led to doors opening on more popular events, and suddenly Echo was winging out to the roar of crowds that echoed off the stone nearly loud enough to drown their music out. DJ Batty took the stage, and made the caverns shake to their beats.

Echo shows little sign of letting up though; fame suits them, and with their works making it all the way out to Cove City, DJ Batty is turning their talents to newer, even more out there work. Instead of playing to popular trends, Echo finds themselves setting those very trends into motion. It's a heady responsibility, and Echo is eager to bring their thoughts and opinions to the fore, and to use their art to shape the conversations flowing throughout the Isles.
